Grunt fill from brewery. Near black pour with small skin of tan head.Mild bitter aroma of roast grains and coffee. Taste brings in some sweetness, chocolate, bitterness stays in the back and lingers for a while. Starts slow and gains some momentum as it goes.

Growler fill from the brewery. Tasted it in the brewery, and decided to bring this home for the weekend. Dark brown, small ring of head. Boozy, leathery aroma. Taste is more of the bourbon, sweet malts, molasses, some bitterness. Seems much bigger than 9.5%. Lingering warmth.

Draft at the brewery. A solid bitter, a tad sour, but not entirely off the mark. Brewed from the spent grains for their red ale, still a lot of flavor left. Gentle, mild brew.
