Description
Dog's Window Brewery has grown from the enjoyment and passion of good beer. As a social occasion, three friends would get together and sample various homebrews. The conversation would often lead to "You should sell this stuff it's really good" and "If this was on the shelf in a shop I'd buy it". The comments were jokingly laughed off with a reply of "Yeah maybe one day". Well that "one day" came when I thought, why not? I certainly wouldn't be the first.

We are a small scale microbrewery, which allows us to concentrate more on quality than quantity. Hops are re-sealed with a vacuum sealer after use and kept in a freezer for freshness. It also allows us to design new beers without worrying about securing huge amounts of ingredients. So Dog's Window progressed from homebrew to what you see today.

Can sample at a tasting at Lior's place. Thanks Kobi. Cloudy golden. Pretty stale hops, a bit fruity, yeast, sweetish, a bit of bitterness, a bit vegetal.

Handpull cask at the Pen & Wig, Cardiff. Dark indigo/brown and a bit translucent with a small uneven khaki/tan head. Aroma is roast malt, salt plum, a little balsamic vinegar. Lovely taste, not too sweet with a good lashing of plum and light notes of smoke. After taste of bitter cough syrup. Hig oily body with carbonation at a minimum. Very enjoyable.

440ml can from Stori, Bala. Pours a dull hazed gold with a large washing up liquid-like white foam head. Aroma suggests mild orangey citrus leanings. Taste is a touch spikier, lightly tangy with dull orange citrus notes typical of the voss kveik strain. More brightness of flavour would be welcome, but it's a decent sipper overall.

Thin frothy white head left a hazy pale amber coloured body. Peach & bubble gum aroma. Medium bodied, smooth with a tingly back. Peach, tangerine, bubble gum & sweet fruity tastes with a tangy hopped up finish. Good one.
