A better smelling and tasting sorghum beer. Cloudy vanilla in color. Surprizingly there is no bandaid smell to this. Does have a slight tartness to it and I like that. On top of the tartness I am surpized how well the hops appear in this. Mild, seems like less than 5%.

Yes, one of the better smoked beers I’ve had. This is certainly not up to rausch strength but there is just a tad of smokie ness that makes it more than a porter or a simple stout. Brown, not black. Has a mild smokey smell. Something in there but not sure if you can really confirm it to be smoke. Slight dull charred feeling. Some farm in there on the finish, decent milder beer. Like able.

Look, I am not a fan of barley wines so ignore my numbers, this stuff is almost as rude as any other american micro barley wine. Smells a little sweet. Not as cloying as most american wannah beez but still has that rudeness about it that says you better age it. Yes, another americamn wannah bee. A little more acceptable than most american barley wines on the gag scale.

Quite mild perfume aroma. Easy and friendly on the palate, refeshingly lighter. Goes down pretty easy. Smooth with manners. Bitter hops but not too bitter. Yes, jsut the right amount of feel to be a decent ASB but its really a english ale. Less rude than most of the english ales.

Pretty good for a hopped beer. Slight taste of mild plastic but its not bad, must be the peculiar flavor of citra hops, heheh. A milder beer, hides the alky well. Aroma matches flavor. Good co2. Although mild plasticity, seems to be friendly. Not bad overall.

On tap at lockhouse 6, nice place and friendly help. This stuff is a beauty, right from the start. The pour is lucious looking whitish like wit beer coudy near white but with just a tinge of yellow. Rock head. First taste is slight tart fun. Mild hop follows but it never gets over the top in the hops like its name may imply, always well controlled and easy. Palate is sizzling CO2 and quite creamy, just the way it looks. What an evolution of flavors; tart, friendly fresh hops then a rollercoaster ride thru acitate and interesting mildly astringent plastic, but in a good way. Yes, really good sizzle and that combines with the tartness to give it one heck of an experience. Considering the name, its not really that hoppy. I was expecting some sort of rude IPA but boy, this never approaches roto-tilling IPA. Very unique. Has a medium length hop finsh. This brewer is dedicated to off kilter beers and so far they’re pretty good. Go wild!

Best beer I’ve had in recent memory. On tap athe Bocktown; this place is everything beer, a must see, at least the Robinson location is. Tonight this beer was just as expected; easy lovely wheat tempered by chamo niftiness. Light yellow and mild happy medicine aroma. Slightly cloudy, or is that the dew on the side of my glass? Tart at first taste. Yes... I like the wild sensations of a slightly tart beer. Fruity and interesting throughout. Easy to get along with personality. Some in a nice way bandadge mild shadow. Yes, nice to the finish. I’ll have another, maid! Easy and goes down way too easy. Crisp CO2 and I like that 2. Yes, chamoleel makes this a little more digestable than most wheat ales. Could easily pass as a high quality witbier during the session and at the finish..

Small sample at the Bocktown; civilized, nice very beer friendly place! Off brown pale color. Nice creamy head. Yes, sweet mild basil aroma. Not much CO2, of course; poured from a pitcher. Unique ale experience fer sure. Interesting, fun and easy. Overall not bad for a ceative beer. Got to check other basils on this site. Would certainly do aagain. A few ale attributes nicely covered with a hometown spicey feel.

Nice clean fresh attractive beery aroma. Big dark pour but not viscous. Nice tan rocky head, package looks yummy. Initial impression is lots of nifty sizzling CO2, I like that. Good fun from the start with a slightly tart backbone makes this a little wild. Yes, really comes across fresh and civilized, no hint of IPA rudeness per se, yet there are hops to be found. Just enough roasty old wet wood porter bitterness to put it a tad above a porter with personality; but never approaches stout status. Hides alky content fine. Overall good beer drinken experience at Bowsers, on tap. Looking for more fun beers from this brewer.
