Draught at Pivomanija beer festival in Ajdovscina. Cloudy golden amber color with small mostly diminishing light brown head and tiny lively bubbles. Strong aroma of cascade hops, reflected in lemon, grapefruit and gentle lingering tropical fruits, supported by solid maltiness, mainly mild caramel. Taste starts with mild caramel malt, followed by refreshing herbal hoppiness, while finished quite astringent. Full body, slick and dry texture and soft carbonation in palate. Mmmmm, fresh hops are tasty :)

Tap in the bottle at the Brewers’ Conference & Beer Fair in Zagreb, rated two days after. Murky yellow coloured, small white head, very pleasant orange coriander nose. Soft malty, wheaty and pleasant spicy with agrumy notes. Also mild coriander in the finish. Of course that fresh would be better, but it was quite nice in this condition.

On tap at the Brewers’ Conference & Beer Fair in Zagreb, cheers Matt! Full, opaque slightly darker yellow body, medium sized white head. Soft aroma, very light bubblegum, some light agrumes & maltiness. Very soft taste, ok, relatively simple, but quite lovely, agrumes... Maybe a touch too light for its own good, but a supremely sessionable beer nonetheless!

On tap at Cameral Beer Fest in Koper. Hazy pale straw color with thin creamy white head and soft visible carbonation. Aroma of coriander, orange peel, wheat with some floral and banana hints. Taste is very refreshing with strong citrus followed by moderate grainy malt and no bitterness. Medium body, mild oily texture and soft carbonation in palate. Holy fish, that was really a good one!

On tap at Ljubljanski Festival Piva, Slovenia. Honey golden coloured, small to medium sized white head, grainy nose. Moderate malty, hoppy and slight barnyard with quite bitter spicy hoppy finish. Unbalanced but there’s enough time to balance it.

On tap at Ljubljanski Festival Piva, Slovenia. Almost amber coloured, small off-white head, fruity nose. Moderate malty, fruity agrumey and light caramel taste with quite bitter aromatic hoppy finish. Also hint of spicy hops. Pleasant sipa. Croatian word sipa means cuttlefish on English.

On tap at Patrick’s, Ljubljana. Pitch black body. Smoky soft dark malt aroma, caramel, slightly dusty and dry. Fruitiness (plums ’n’ berries) fighting with coffee in the taste. Soft... The only thing slightly off about it is a vague soapy note. This is really good stuff.

Hehhehehe sipa. Anyway, different name nad abv from the amber ipa, so I added it. Poured a dark shiny coppery red-brown body, really dark for a pale ale yet not a black ipa. Lovely fruity agrumey aroma with a good malty background. It continues, fresh, in the taste. Lemon drops, lovely too, turning into a plastic-like finish with a healthy dose of bitterness. They aren’t pulling any punches despite an "unaccustomed" market and that’s to be respected and copied. In Croatia too, ya hear?!
