Bottle from Tavour. Batch 1. Cloudy amber pour with a small, soft, creamy head. Caramel apple comes to mind in the aroma, hints of the brett and barrel. Booozy barrel notes shove themselves up to the front on the taste, still a ton of caramel, apples, light tartness. Finishes with a pleasant warmth. Really enjoyed this. This review is a year older than the previous ones, and I'd dsay the extra time has done wonders for this beer.

Tulip at the brewery - turbid gold - fairly full in body for such a small beer - soft carbonation - dry, with mildly prickly acidity - moderate woody and grassy bitterness works well with the subtle brett funkiness - finishes with light gingerbread and subtle peppery phenols a the hops linger on the palate - good one.

Tulip at the brewery - clear light copper - nose of whiskey, melon, moderate acidity/citrus - when taken all together, it actually kind of smells like the crappy Seagrams and 7-up drinks my mom used to drink (but not at full strength, like after all the ice had melted) - flavor is fairly acidic, light funky - kind of watery, particularly for the strength - flavors of watered-down whiskey, cheap white wine - boozy finish - tastes like someone fucked up making a cheap cocktail - messy AF.
