Sampled at the brewpub, took a fresh can to go. Golden-yellow pour is moderately hazy, thick creamy white head. Sweet aroma of citrus and tropical fruits. Deep tropical fruit flavor, sweet and moderately bitter. Very juicy. The higher abv is well hidden.

Sample at brewpub. Dark brown pour, creamy brown head. Coffee and light chocolate aroma. Great coffee flavor, modest bitterness and lightly sweet. Excellent mouthfeel, spot-on for the style. Definitely would have this again.

Coffee and roast. Kind of a mess. Black pour with ok head. Doesn't hang together well at all. Perhaps partly unfermented. Leaves with a kind of cloying tang. Tap at Spokane Valley location.

Taster at CdA taproom. Light, bright amber, small foamy head. Aroma is equal parts malts and hops. Nice balance here. Taste focuses back on the malts, sweet and slick. 7.6%? Hard to believe.

On tap at the brewery pours out black topped with a tan head. Nose is coffee peppers spice and sweet roast malts. Taste is more of the nice sweet malts coffee and some spice.
