GBBF Day 2. Cask. Clear gold beer, no head. Palate is light with reasonable fine carbonation. Clean pale malts, mild honey. Modest but bitterish orange and orange peel. Light finish. Peel bitter linger. Not bad.

Cask at gbbf 2015 day 4. Pale golden coloured pour with a lasting loose white head. Aromatic nice floral, hedgerow hop, little fatty sulphur. Flavour is composed of light butty grains, hedgerow berry. Hawthorne. Faint citrus palate is semi sweet, light, good condition. Nice English golden in good condition.

At GBBF. Ordinary bitter with coarse, snow white head and hazy ’old gold’ colour, perhaps a bit paler than usual for the style. Aroma has hints of pear, flowers, overripe peach, toasted bread and sweaty grains, the latter not disturbing me too much in this case. Fruity taste, graininess softened by a sweeter, fuller caramel character but subtly so, slight sourish hint, bit metallic, mild grassy and floral hop bitterness in the finish. Decent.
