Bottle [from trade with Rosenbergh] @ home. Clear rusty orange color, small off-white head. Smell and taste malts, lightly smoke, some fruitpeel and a slight hint of sweetish hops. I don’t know where all these very low scores come from. To me it tastes fine, although it’s not my favourite style at all but it’s certainly not bad.

Bottled at Post-PBF, Vaasa. Dark brown, lively head. Fruity nose with some caramel, milk chocolate and baking yeast. Sweetish with light-medium body and clean, plastic mouthfeel. Cocoa powder and vanilla, some plastic notes. Low bitterness.

Bottled at Post-PBF, Vaasa. Cloudy golden, small head. Lemon juice and baking yeast. Mid sweet with light-medium body and clean mouthfeel. Fruity with unpleasant yeasty sourness. Low bitterness. A simplistic, severely flawed beer.

Bottled at Post-PBF, Vaasa. Hazy amber, rich head. Buttery nose with mild lemon and smoke. Mid sweet with medium body and well rounded mouthfeel. Mild birchwood smoke, some grass and ash. The slight touch of lemon disturbs, otherwise it is quite nice.

Bottled at pre-PBF, Vasa edition. Copper colour, exceptionally short lived head. Caramelly nose with some lingonberry tartness. Mid sweet with light-medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Limp caramel, cardamom and lingonberries. Low bitterness.

Bottle 500ml. w. swing top. [ As Pihamaan Sahti ].ABV: 9.0%. Unclear matt light to medium orange with virtually no head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, wheat, moderate yeasty, candy, juniper, light candy - sweet. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, sweet malt, yeast, banana - yeast, sticky, juniper - wood dry. Body is medium, texture is watery, carbonation is flat. [20150620]
