MALTILLA HUMALOITU TUMMAHKO VEHNÄOLUT
Jäärä jäkkiniska, ikuinen vastaanväittäjä. Vehnänkin taivutti tummemmaksi vaahtopääksi ja antoi kaveriksi maltillisen humaloinnin.

Bottle BBE 3.3.2017. Smell of green apple. Muddy amber colour, massive head. Aroma of yeast, fruit, earth, mud. Really messy flavours. Clears slightly up in finish, revealing some weat. Sour, finishes medium sweet. Wild carbon. Not sure if spoiled or not.

Bottled at pre-PBF, Vasa edition. Copper colour, exceptionally short lived head. Caramelly nose with some lingonberry tartness. Mid sweet with light-medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Limp caramel, cardamom and lingonberries. Low bitterness.

(Bottle, 0.33 l, at laiti’s, 20150613) The beer poured dark brown and clear. Its head was small and white. Aroma had malts and boiled vegetables. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were sweetness, malts, bread, molasses and bitterness. Aftertastre was malty and bitter. Nice malty taste but weird aroma.

Pours dark reddish orange with a tiny head. Aroma of earthy notes, hints of wheaty malts, hints of yeast and stuffy notes. Taste is stuffy, earthy and a bit wheaty with hints of yeast and malts. Finish is watery, a bit musty and wheaty with some biscuity and earthy notes. Decent, but a bit dull.

33 cl bottle @ home, BBE 12/2015. Thanks Markku!
Aroma has cardboard, toffee and some slightly roasted malt. Flavour is dry with cold coffee, some toffee, cardboardy notes and slightly roasted malt with some bread. Like a dunkel watered down. And quite no signs of wheat here.

Bottled (thanks Hermod!). Amber colour, mediumsized brown head. Aroma is caramel, some earthy and yeasty notes along with mild wooden notes. Flavour is mild acidic wood, some yeast, toffee, and mild herbal notes. All of these Pihamaa beers have something common in them, they are watery and quite similar tasting, no matter what beer style they have aimed for.

33cl bottle from Heilan lähiruokatori, Heinola. Bbe 12 /2015. Poured mahogany color with a dense off white head. White bready, caramelly aroma, toast. Pleasant aroma. Flavor has caramel, nutty notes, mild hops, bread. Short finish. Thin body. Refreshing and easy. Wheat ale? More like a brown ale to me
