2010 750ml bottle from Squatters, 7.3% ABV
Appearance: Slightly hazy yellow/golden with a nice white head that dissipates fairly quickly, leaving some lacing in the glass. Bubbles in the glass look like a champagne, they continue along time after the pour
Aroma: Tart fruits, brett, yeasty and barnyard
Taste: Similar to the aroma. Some sharp tart flavors at the first, then some bitterness in the finish
Very nice Saison, with some nice complexity. Very crisp and clean.

Nitro at the brewpub
Appearance: Golden with a nice frothy off-white head and lots of lacing
Aroma: Citrus, malts,
Taste: Slightly sweet malts, hoppy, grainy mouthfeel with a slightly bitter finish
Very nice beer. It is light and easy drinkability. Usually if wheat is in the style or description, I stay away. But this one sounded interesting, I wasn’t disappointed.

Waxed bomber courtesy of douglas88. It pours deep dark void with thin mocha head. The aroma is mild with muted cherries, dark roastiness, coffee, chocolate and figs. The taste is pure yum starting with velvety chocolate, dark roasted malts, a touch of burnt malts and some dark roasted coffee goodness. Toward the finish some earthiness comes to the surface too. This comes together wonderfully and ends with chocolate covered malt balls and roasty dryness. This is very nice and hides the ABV very well.

Bottle thanks to swalden28. Possibly the most bad ass looking bottle ever! Pours inky black with a deep brown head and a black body. Aroma of chocolate, vanilla, creamer, alcohol and raisin. Taste is chocolate, a touch metallic and quite earthy. Creamy mouthfeel, syrupy body.

On tap at the brewpub
Appearance: Dark brown with a medium sized off-white head, some lacing left in the glass
Aroma: Toasted malts and coffee
Taste: Roasted malts, coffee and some smoke lingering in the finish
A nice beer. The smoked malts don’t come through very strong, I would have liked them to be stronger in the aroma and taste.
