Description
Our story originates from the dreams of a German immigrant and his passion for beer. Otto Bemberg, who arrived in our country in 1852, founded the Cervecería Argentina in the city of Quilmes in 1888. After two years, on October 31, 1890, the first chopp was served and from there the iconic beer began to be sold under the Quilmes brand, in honor of the old indigenous name of the town, where this dream materialized. These would be just the first steps of a project that, over time, would become one of the main companies in Argentina. During the years to come, the company grew exponentially, in 1910 it reached 100% beer production.

In 2002 we sealed the strategic association with AmBev and in 2006 we finalized the transfer of our majority shareholding package. We are currently part of AB-InBev, the world's leading brewing company, based in Leuven, Belgium, with a portfolio of more than 200 brands.

Clear golden, white head. Aroma has malt, paper and a little hops. Medium bitter flavour, malty with a little sweetness.

Country tick beer. Just your average macro pilsner / pale lager thing. Light, very clear. Taste is fairly bitter for the style, not as sweet as many others tend to get (corn?). Pretty crisp, but not much of a hoppyness. Refreshing, light, easy, boring.

Bottle at THT January. Pale straw with white head. Cardboard, dusty grains, soft dry malts, watery grains. Medium sweet and light bitter. Light bodied.

Thuis uit een flesje. Helder geel, wit schuim. Fris pilsje, mis een goede bitterheid, nasmaak is er nauwelijks.

Cheap can from Hanamasa. Surprisingly inoffensive. Corn, light fruitiness. Bit creamy. Surprised how easy it went down. Not much to recommend it though, apart from the country tick.

Very pale colored. Where is the aroma? There is just nothing there. The flavor is just as bland. A vague grainy sweetness with a light bitter aftertaste.
