Description
Our story originates from the dreams of a German immigrant and his passion for beer. Otto Bemberg, who arrived in our country in 1852, founded the Cervecería Argentina in the city of Quilmes in 1888. After two years, on October 31, 1890, the first chopp was served and from there the iconic beer began to be sold under the Quilmes brand, in honor of the old indigenous name of the town, where this dream materialized. These would be just the first steps of a project that, over time, would become one of the main companies in Argentina. During the years to come, the company grew exponentially, in 1910 it reached 100% beer production.

In 2002 we sealed the strategic association with AmBev and in 2006 we finalized the transfer of our majority shareholding package. We are currently part of AB-InBev, the world's leading brewing company, based in Leuven, Belgium, with a portfolio of more than 200 brands.

Bottle from Wittich. Pours clear golden with a fine foam. Aroma is buttery citric grassy, all paired with a healthy dose of grains. Body is light and thin, mostly carbonation but with a pleasant sweetish malt body. Low on flavours, some bitterness. Non-offensive is probably the best word to describe this, except maybe on the nose.

Flesje gedeeld door Tomhendriksen. Goudgeel helder bier met weinig schuim. Aroma van banaan en citrus fruit. Smaak is moutig en zoetig. Weinig nasmaak. Voor mij is dit een typisch "vakantiebier"

Fles gedeelt met Inoven. Het is een goudgeel bier met een volle witte schuimkraag. Het heeft een moutige geur en smaak. Gewoon pils.

330mml. bottle. Tasted on the 21/07/2018 at "Castelao". Clear golden color with a low fuffly white head. Aroma is grain, corn, sugar and some phenolic. Taste is grainy and watery leading to a watery and phenolic finish. Next one please!

Quilmes Cerveza. Clear golden, thick white head. Soft sweetish corny maltiness. Dull soft sweetish taste, corn, relatively full but drinkable. Had worse.

Can split with Seth Breaker. Drank from the can. Flavour is adjunct, apple, light grains. Palalte is semi sweet, thin, highish carbonation. Estery lager. Not that good.
