Bottled (from AbM). Amber colour, with a small slightly off-white head. Aroma is quite strong on the crystal malts, with also some bready and mild toasted note. Flavour is sweet malts, toffee, some toasted notes as well as mild wooden and earthy notes. A bit sulphury notes as well.

Keg at the Jekyll & Hyde, Birmingham. Pours gold with a medium head. Aroma is corn and grass. Taste is sweet with grass and a little lime. Better than a macro, but nothing spectacular.

Very slight haze on this gold beer. Small white head. Slightly soft palate. Very mild hop bitterness and metallic minerals. Finishes soft. Hardly any difference between this and the Pils, just a little less paper.

Keg at The Firefly, Worcester with mum & Loz 19.05.12 Gold with white head and a busy carbonation. Lovely lager with a fuller taste than many admittedly corny but even so ever so nice. Refreshing with a nice sweetness, most enjoyable. A6 A4 T7 P4 Ov13 3.4
