Bottle. Deep gold. No head. Nice rich sugary aroma, light tannins there, and big apple. Rich apple, big body, lots of sweetness but then dried out by a lot of tannins. Nice, complex cider.

Medium gold colour, a bit of haze. I like the aroma - some brown sugar stuff in there with apples and tannins. Similar palate...gets some complexity from darker sugars and plenty of tannins. Solid stuff, and I can see some upside here if fermentation flows a bit differently. But in a province drowning in cider made from eating apples, we need this.

Very orangey gold body and no real foam to speak of, minimal carbonation also. Nice dry apple aroma, lots of wood and twig, sweet citrus helping to punctuate it. Taste is a lot of woody apple, slight tawny notes, caramel but a whole lot of wood. While dry there's a bit of sweetness to help round it out. Not bad, the apple could provide a bit more impact in relation to the wood.

No foam or carbonation on a clear orange body. Very soft sharp apple, vague wood notes. Taste is an earthy apple, heavy wood, tannins galore. Finishes bone dry but with modest carbonation. Still, enjoyable.

Medium gold body and some modest foam, modest carbonation. Very musty barn saddle on the nose, sharp apple behind it, soft grape twig funk. Taste is a bitter apple with more barn leather, horse hair, cow dung mixed with brown sugar. Rustic and fun, rough and enjoyable.

Pours a deep clear red body with modest foam. Nice bright raspberry aroma, apple leaf, soft wood notes. Taste is more raspberry, semi-sweet and some apple hints. A little bit of an odd apply aftertaste that doesn't seem to jive with the raspberry. Still, not bad.

Medium clear gold body and no foam, small carbonation. Very musty on the nose, apple sweetness, barn funk, a bit of a shock at first but I'm warming up to it. Taste is a lot of barn funk with sweet apple, sod and manure, lingering sweetness and bone dry. I like the rustic funk of this, sets it apart and makes it interesting.

On tap at Backroads, pours a clear off-red with a small white head. Aroma brings out intense, sweet raspberries, with just a touch of acidity. Flavour is very fruity, with medium-high sweet raspberries, and gentle acidity. Not much complexity, but it's drinkable.
