Rating from 2.6.2008: Sehr schöner cremiger Schaum. --> 12.65

Bottle. Pours a clear deep amber with an off-white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a combination of leaves and bread with a backing mustiness. Flavor has same bread and leaves with a bit of grassiness.

Clear amber to copper colour, nice frothy white head. Aroma bread, hint of caramel, herbal touch, roasty. Taste medium sweet and bitter, malty, bready, medium bittersweet aftertaste, light body, not too sweet and light bitter finish.

Fresh beer that will quench your thirst. Taste is nothing special and the aroma is not really existent.

It proved to be better than I expected it to be. I drink dark beers seldom. If I had a dark mood again, I’d try Diebels repeated. Nice color, palate carbonation, slight roasted aroma. Medium bitter taste.

Bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass brownish, nice head. Starts malty and dry, quite metallically and soapy. Finish unbalanced, do not very drinkable. Not good!

Can on the 22.40 train from Dusseldorf to Koln (probably from Yormas at the Hbf), 28/04/13. Clear chestnut brown with a big frothy beige head. Nose is dark malt, toffee, grain, brown sugars. Taste comprises dark malt, toffee fudge, bran flakes, brown sugars. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Average alt compared to the ones I’d just sampled in the bars of Dusseldorf, it smacked of mass production, drinkable none the less.
