Bottle from Le Jardin de Bière, St Just Luzac, France. Copper coloured with a slight, off-white head. For light and not bitter, read a fairly innocuous beer with nothing memorable or offensive. Forgettable.

Bottle. A clear, dark brown drink topped by a small and rapidly diminishing beige head. The aroma is mostly cola, but with a hint of herbs, beer and malts. The flavor is even more on the cola side, some caramel blending in, and after a while there’s even some hints of beer. Medium body, rather sticky. The finish has a sweet, cola finish with some herbal bitterness. Well, definately nothing I’ll drink loads of. 100106

Bottle. A clear, amber beer topped by a decent off-white head. Bready nose with a fruity touch. Quite dry, with caramel and bread, some ryebread and loads of water. A little fruityness also shows up. Quite thin on the palate. Definately not bad, but I’d rather have a glass of water. 100513

Bottle. An amber beer, clear, topped by a finger-thick off-white head. Yeasty, toffeeish nose with some prunes. Slightly meaty. Some bitterness in the finish, and a touch of metal. The initial flavor is on the malty side with toffee and some bitterness. Thin and flat on the palate. I definately prefer the regular Diebels, so much I’d rather not drink than drink this one. 100423

Bottle. Deep amber color, moderate head. Medium strong sourish aroma. With malt. Somewhat nutty. Rather thin, dry, flavor. Roasted malt at the back, hoppy finish with some malt. Mediu8m body and carbonation. Refreshing and drinkable, though not very exciting.
