The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass looks great. Fine, creamy foam. Flavor modest dry, modest malty - like it has to be. Good alt!

03/01 0.33 l bottle at Dombrau. Poured clear amber brown body with quite big ebony head. Caramel aroma with some burned sugar, a bit industrial which was quite strange. Flavor dominated by that roasted sugar, bitterish and quite light bodied, watery. Coffee finish. this is my first altbier, so might be wrong, this was not bad, interesting although not so good in my opinion.

The bottle looks not too bad, but that’s already the best at this beer. Much too dry and much too cola-like. Not a good beer.

Tan-brown colour. Malty, slightly nutty aroma. Flavour is slightly bitter but clean and moorish. Some roasted malt finds it’s way though.
