16oz can. Purchased at Old Town Market in Kensington, MD. Poured a hazy yellow color with a medium sized white head. Aroma was big cloves, banana. Flavor was wheat, clove spices, and banana esters. Pleasant, easy to drink Hefe.

16oz can pours a dark garnet amber with some off white head that faded into a creamy ring. Nose has a ton of spice, clove and date, banana, allspice, malt, candy, brown sugar, cinnamon. Flavor has all that, dates and prunes, dried malt, candy sugar, cloves, all spice, cinnamon. Full bodied, sweet, spicy finish. 7 3 7 3 12

16oz can pours a dark black, opaque, big cap of beige head. Nose is right on, molasses and licorice, yeast and dark bread dough, some dried dark fruits. Flavor is chewy with malt and marzipan and carob, prune, date, licorice. Dry and full bodied. Easy drinker.

Tap at Crooked Crab. Big chocolate tone, sweet. Steady beige head. A pretty enjoyable dark lager, aroma and appearance are excellent. Cocoa malt tone, heavy handed. Not really a perfect example balance wise but tasty. Scores higher than it deserves.

Tap at Crooked Crab. Fast rising carbonation. Bready, pleasant lager. The Vienna malt takes it a little deeper, adding some deeper pretzel, bread tones. Overcarbonated, not quite nailing it, but the most enjoyable beer I had from them.
