Draft pour at Capitol City Brewing. Poured a clear, very dark amber color with a small white head. Aroma was huge gain, lots of malts. Flavor was toffee, caramel, alcohol. Some mild resin, light orange. Biscuit. Sweet finish.

A little imbalanced compared to the pale ales I just had from them. Green onion and some grapefruit rind. Murky orange pour with ok head and great lacing. Hop tang and boozy end. Tap at brewery.

Cacao, dark chocolate and roast. Milk and a hint of vanilla. Black pour with good head and lacing. Subtle and not too sweet as some stouts along these lines are. Tap at brewery.
