Growler fill from the brewery. Poured a deep, golden color with a medium sized white head. Aroma was really pleasant pine. Flavor had a lot of resin, and grapefruit. Decent malty character to this one. Feels almost like a throwback to an era I almost forgot about.

Draft: Poured a cloudy bright yellow with a white whispery head. Aroma is grainy, light grassy. Taste is a nice crisp fresh grain.

Taster at brewery. Looking for one redeeming beer. Could this be the one? Dark, clear golden pour, ring of head. Piney, hoppy aroma, light resinous notes. Looking good so far. Taste offers some maltiness before the hops kick in, nice, bitter old school hoppiness, oily, resiny. Nice

Taster at brewery. Breakthrough! This one has flavor! Dark, hazy golden, wispy head. Aroma offers a brief hint of hops, which reveal themselves in the taste. Woody, earthy, pine and floral. Overall, seems thin though .

Taster at brewery. Hazy golden pour, skin of head, solid lacing. Light hoppy aroma. Taste is a letdown from here, the hops in the aroma disappearing and leaving you with a bland nothingness like their blonde ale. Forge ahead, they can't be all that bad

Taster at brewery. Pale, straw color, ring of head. Aroma? Can't find it. Taste....ummm...bread, and just barely.About as close to water as I've had in a long time.
