Description
At Bitburger, the pure pleasure of Pilsner-style beer has a long family tradition. Since the founding of our brewery in 1817, we have dedicated ourselves fully to the quality and taste of our products. Today, seven generations and almost 200 years later, Bitburger is still in family hands – but the small business of two centuries ago has become one of the biggest breweries in Germany, and the number one player in the draught beer market. We owe the success of our company first and foremost to our employees, who bring real passion to their work for the company. For us, a sense of social responsibility is simply part of what we do. Bitburger also supports many charitable and community projects, and promotes cultural and sporting events.

330 ml bottle. Gold lager with a slight white head. Slightly sweet malt aroma with a whiff of hops. Flavour also inclined to sweetness with a tired hop finish. Ok.

Bottle. Frothy red good mostly deminishing head. Wonderfull red colour, a little artificial. Powerfull raspberry like aroma. Realy nice. Light bitter moderate sweet flavor. Short finish. Very watery palate. As a "fruitthing" this is not so bad. You can also taste that there is beer inthere. Somewhere. I think.....

16.9oz can-pours a foamy white head that laces and pale yellow color. Aroma is light malt, secondary floral/spicy (saaz) hops. Taste is light malt-some caramel, secondary floral/spicy/grassy (saaz) hops-slight bitterness. OK carbonation. As of second half it gets better.

Bottle as Bitburger Drive. Light dusty aroma of pale malt and grassy hop. Gold colored with a little amber and a white head that is respectable and sticks. Thin to medium bodied with fizzy carbonation. Definitely a lot of bitter, finishes a little grainy. This could be the low alcohol for pilsners. I think it’s the best NA so far.

Re-rate 3/2/10: Bottle sample during a Beer-D Parliament meeting. Clear golden with a small white head. Aroma is quite grainy with some malt and light grassy hoppiness. Sweetish flavor with some graininess and bread notes at first, continues on to a bitter finish with grass and light metallic hints. Light to medium body. Nothing more than a mediocre Pils but still quite drinkable. 4/3/5/3/10=2.5

Draught. Golden with a white head. Hoppy aroma. Sweet malt in the flavor and a bitter finish. Medium-bodied. 5/3/5/3/10=2.6
