Description
At Bitburger, the pure pleasure of Pilsner-style beer has a long family tradition. Since the founding of our brewery in 1817, we have dedicated ourselves fully to the quality and taste of our products. Today, seven generations and almost 200 years later, Bitburger is still in family hands – but the small business of two centuries ago has become one of the biggest breweries in Germany, and the number one player in the draught beer market. We owe the success of our company first and foremost to our employees, who bring real passion to their work for the company. For us, a sense of social responsibility is simply part of what we do. Bitburger also supports many charitable and community projects, and promotes cultural and sporting events.

Bottle. Grain malt aroma. Golden yellow with moderate head. Light grainy malt flavor but it at least has a good beer flavor. One of the best low alcohol beers in Germany.

250ml draught at The Jerusalem Tavern. Pale yellow. Small white head. Weak aroma of sweet malt. Blend of malt and sweet hops in flavour. Refreshing but too sweet and overcarbonated (20.09.2006).

(bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a mid-sized blonde foamy head. Slightly sweet malty and light-grassy hoppy aroma. Soft malty taste, delicate bitter flavour and a bit slim on the palate; dry, light bitter finish with shy notes of herbal hops. Not that bad, but quite boring.

Bottle, as Bitburger Alkoholfrei. Sweet, bready aroma. Still-looking, pale golden colour. Big white head, quite stable. Quite mild flavour, without the unpleasant bitterness you often get in alkofreis. 2 3 3 3 7 Bottle as 0.0. Very sweet flavour. 3 3 3 3 7

Test vom 21.7.2006, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 5,10,10,5,8,10 - 8,65
