Sample at GABF 10/05/2019, thanks to kathryneels for assistance with note-taking. Slightly hazy dark copper (ha!) color with a medium thin off-white head that recedes quickly to an outer ring. Stringy lace. Aroma of malt, fruit and mild hops. Light-bodied with flavors of caramel malt, stone fruit and mild earthy hop. The finish is sweet with a malty aftertaste. Decent overall.

5 oz glass (part of a Flight) in The BrewHouse, San Juan Capistrano on 3rd Jan 2020. Amber/golden body, white head. Strong Bourbon nose and flavours overpower the original beer (not that I have tried it) and take over completely, still enjoyed it though.

Sample @ GABF 2017. Pours a black color with a small tan head. Has a roasted malty chai chocolate vanilla aroma. Roasted malty chocolate chai and vanilla flavor. Has a roasted malty chai vanilla and chocolate finish.
