Poured from the tap. Clear gold with small white head. Mild pils malt with some floral grassy hops. Doesn’t have that traditional hit of a German pils. Okay.

Poured from the tap. Clear blonde with small white head. Mild saison yeast, a little weak, but it’s a table beer. Okay.

Poured from the tap @ HUB New West. Clear blonde with small white head. Clean, biscuit malt, fruity floral hops, dry grass finish. Decent, but bit of an odd Pilsner.

Poured from 650mL bottle (2012 vintage) @ July Black Xmas. Copper with small off-white head. Boozy, mild woods, a bit astringent and oxidized. Too old.

473mL can, pours a clear golden with a medium white head. Aroma brings out a mild, spicy, piney hop character upfront, backed with a crisp biscuity malt base. Flavour is crisp, with lots of spicy hops, plenty of mineraly notes, and a very dry biscuity malt base. Quite dry, bitter and mineraly on the finish, without a very identifying hop character. Competent and drinkable, but the hop character is not particularly invigorating.

Florals and raisins, prune. Dark brown pour with durable creamy head. Marmalade and some booze. Sweet and slightly bitter finish. Nice beer. A little heavy on booze aroma is a potential fault. Can.

473 ml can. Pours amber with moderate head. Aromas dank hops, pine, candied grapefruit and biscuity malts. Flavors of biscuity malts, bitter hops and subtle mashed fruit. A good hoppy pale ale.

@ Magnet. Amber-brown, no head…looks flat. Lactic, balsamic, dark fruit complexity on the nose. A bit slick, only mild tartness…i think the rum barrel is adding some sugars to round it out. Dried cherries and zhenjiang vinegar. I could see myself not
