Description
First, you need to pronounce it right… it’s pronounced with a Z. Zul.

It might make you think of something you heard from a classic 80’s movie or a 90’s computer game. Urban Dictionary defines it as “bad in a cool kind of way” or “cool in a baaaad kinda way.”

To us, it’s all of this, and more.

Very sweet, full of mandarin, lemon drops, mango, melon, bubblegum, and a little mint. Hops are nice, but the sweetness grows taxing, overshadowing the mineral bitter streak of the fade. Slightly astringent as it warms. Decent, but too sugary.

Very heavy on the passion fruit, with a juicy sweetness on the back end that gets to be a little much as the pint warms. The Citras add plenty of grapefruit zest, lime, mango, and pineapple, with lingering citrus zest in the finish and a sweet-tart fade. If passion fruit is your thing, you'll love this pint. Otherwise...

Not bad, with an initial wave of tropical and grapefruit notes, followed by milder veins of berry and peach. Finishes with a lingering sweetness and a modest bitter streak.

Sweet, with notes of mandarin, peach, honey, and grapefruit pith, with touches of pine and earth. Touch of booze on the back end, with a lingering swath of citrus and candied orange zest. Not bad.

Odd pils, with saison-ish notes of fresh straw, vanilla, and clove underneath a pronounced grainy sweetness and yeast. Finishes with a firm floral bitterness and lingering yeast. Okay.
