24oz can at the DC Spring RB Tasting. Poured a pale, fizzy, sad yellow color with a medium sized, fluffy white head. Aroma was sweet syrup. Not much else going on here, sweet, with a pinch of sadness.

Clear, watery yellow colored, medium- white head. Light malt, lots of corn, some grain, light grassy bitterness, hay. Light bodied, soft carbonation, too watery. Bland and watery...

12 oz. clear bottle with a twist-off cap. Pours a crystal clear pale gold color with a tiny white head that vanished instantly. No lacing. Very bubbly, soda-like pour. Aroma of dry pineapple cider. Very sweet pineapple soda flavor. Not as dry as expected. Crisp finish. Definitely not beer, but tasty alcoholic fruit soda.

I'd rather eat the paper bag than drink more of this. Garbage finish. Garbage golden pour. Drain pour thanks to martial arts academy moving into an old sketchy corner store.

Steel Reserve has a new flavor, Tropic Storm. Woo woo. And I must try it. My parents must have dropped me on my head. I picked up the 24oz can at the nearby HEB supermarket and I am putting it inside the brown bag I used for my last malt liquor, heaven help me. Cold, very cold, a requirement. I pop the tab. Not sure, it looks sort of unearthly green in there and the scent is sweetness and a green snow cone I had in my childhood. The taste, yes, sweet is number one and then maybe green apple, electric Kool Aid and a spoonful of sugar from the sugar bowl. Better than their Blue Razz but not as good as the Pineapple. See, I am an expert on Steel Reserve, lord help me.

12oz can. Drank from can. Peach, synthetic white grape, bit of grain, big hit of generic fruity candy. Not much body. The fruitiness is not a pleasant one, but it hides any of the usual lager flaws and makes this somewhat drinkable. Not convinced by the champagne comparison though.
