Draft at The Colmore, Birmingham. Poured almost black in colour with a mostly lasting frothy off-white head. The aroma is roasty malt, light vanilla lactose. The flavour is moderate sweet, with a smooth, somewhat rich, roasty, light oily, chocolate, liquorice, light dry coffee, sweet lactose palate. Over medium bodied with soft carbonation.

500ml can. Pours hazy light gold with a medium head. Aroma is sweet lemon, papaya and lime. Taste has papaya and lime with a little onion and jelly on the finish.

Can on the Eurostar to Brussels, thanks to birthday boy Rich, 09/02/24. Hazy light orange yellow with a white cap that thins to a swirl. Nose is pissy green berries, dank chimes, pine resin, herb, hops spice, gooseberries, bitter tropical fruits. Taste comprises dank bite, grass, pine needle, papaya, guava, hop spice, gooseberries. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close spliced with kiwi driven lightly resinous hop bitterness.

Keg @ Tap and Can. Pours a hazed yellow, pure white head. Just what the doctor ordered. Fresh, soft with gentle creamy shades.. not too sweet or exotic. Crushable.
