Cloudy, glowing golden beer - substantial head - nose is earthy, dusty, lightly phenolic and peppery - moderately sweet up front, with significant, tangy wheat flavors - dries out through the middle - citrus, dusty yeast, a flinty quality - some spiciness from the yeast that the pepper piles on top of - moderate phenols - spicy finish, with lingering orange and yeast - it’s good, but overdone - I feel like you can lose the pepper and orange peel and have a much better beer.

Tap at the brewery - cloudy copper - a bit under carbonated, and as a result, has a bit of a flabby body and watery texture - their alt had the same issue - a smack of citrus hits the palate first, followed by some bready malt - moderate acidity, but fairly subdued bitterness, considering how much hop flavor their is - a hint of sweetness through the middle - good, but a touch more bitterness would be nice to cover up that acidity.

Tap at the brewery - hazy amber pour - initially sweet, with moderate doughy malt and yeastiness - dries out quickly, with light roasted nut flavos through the middle - a touch of esters - some biscuity quality on the tail end, as well as moderately peppery hops - the body is a little flabby - needs a little work, but a good attempt.
