Earthy aroma and fall spice aroma, copper color, lasting foam. Earthy, malty flavor with mild bourbon, mild pumpkin, and mild spice. Not overly sweet. More vegetable flavors as it warms. Balanced.

4 month old (I think) can A: Chalky pale yellow with 1 of crackling, fast falling foam. S: Lemon lime and grapefruit citrus pith and light wheat crackers. T: Bitter and tart but after a pithy, pulpy citrus blast, little other flavor is noticed except a drying hint of peppery wheat in the finish. M: Clean, crisp, light, prickly and refreshing. O: Of course it lacks malt flavor and body but not bad for a low-cal.

Very hazy blonde and golden coloured body with a nice two to three centimetre tall pure white head. Amazing aroma of pure, fresh pineapple notes with a lot of hop bitterness here and a moderate/balanced dose of both soft malts and some bready yeast, with a dose of alcohol noticeable, but the scent really brings out the fresh pineapples - very nice. Medium-bodied; Very well-balanced malt and hop notes show nicely at first with a great bite of the fresh pineapple right behind that gives a lot of sweetness as well as bitterness, but the balance is struck almost perfectly. Aftertaste shows some of the bitterness from the alpha acids of the hops, but the fresh fruit and sweetness show a bit more, with the pineapple and even some softer mango and passionfruit notes coming through as well with a slight bit of tartness, but the fruits dominate in a great way. Overall, a very nice IPA that has real, fresh fruit flavours that works amazingly well, but the balance her between the malts, hops and sweetness is just right for the style, very nicely done, not by a hawaiian or californian brewery, but one from Baltimore - Kudos! I sampled this twelve ounce can, purchased from Giant in Alexandria (Potomac Yard), Virginia on 15-April-2021 for US$1,99 sampled at my house here in Washington on 09-June-2021.

OK, finally a new beer form heavy seas, haven't seen one from them for a while. 12 oz green can from JR's. Less than 2 bucks fer sher. Smell like IPA, Looks like IPA with its slight haze and big fat craggy heads foam. Tastes like any other IPA. So I guess its just like any other of a gahzillion IPA out there? Just asking. IPA, the new american macro, and it even comes from domestic craft brewers, go figger. There, you have it. Another mouth coating IPA, beer with preservative in it, on purpose, none the less. What - ever.

22oz bottle pours out black topped with a tan head. Nose is sweet chocolate some smoke. Taste is more of the nice sweet milk chocolate and a roast coffee smoke.

12 ounce bottle from Buzz. Opaque brown color. Small dense tan head. Roasted malt aroma hints at coffee and chocolate. Bittersweet roasted malt flavor has notes of molasses and licorice. Some resiny notes in finish balance this nicely.
