Bottled at Stockholm Beer Festival 2007. A hazy golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet and buttery. The flavor is buttery with a fruity diacethyl note, and the body is thin.

(12 FL oz at 3 små rum, Göteborg) Clear golden color, big white head. Sweet, hoppy and spicy scent. Hoppy, bitter and spicy taste. Spritzy mouthfeel, medium bitterness. Green hoppy aftertaste.

Hazy copper color. The aroma, not strong, is essentially toffee, with some light hop aromas too. Good body strength, with a powerful caramel and toffee flavor, a rather dry mouthfeel and a powerful hopping. The final is very long and strong. An English accent IPA, but pushed in the American way. I prefer the sweeter and more fruity ones.

Cloudy golden color. Buttery aroma, even more the flavor. Some malt flavor, correct body strength, correct bitterness, nothing more.

This is pretty much a standard IPA, without many, or any, real flaws, but without a distinctive character of its own. I poured this beer without the best light, so just refer to other people’s accounts of the appearance. Taste was smooth, and contained some hops, but not a lot. It tasted like a session beer, not something you would drink slowly, sip by sip.

Pours deep gold with copper highlights and fluffy off white head. The aroma is big buttery bread and smacks you in the face. I also get toffee and then an astringency odor. If there’s some hops involved in the aroma they might be floral like and just overridden by the toffee covered breadiness. The taste is much like the aroma but the flavors don’t work well together. The toffee and fresh buttered bread are pretty nice. But then an abrupt spicy floral hop note breaks up the experience by driving a wedge into the flavor. Then a somewhat harsh astringency tears into he flavor leaving a shredded disjointed mess. This one really doesn’t work for me.

Bottle. Pours an amber colour with a large longlasting off-white head. Malty aroma with some spicy hoppy hints. Malty flavor with some spicy hoppy hints and hints of caramel. Malty finish.

Clean amber color; creamy head. Caramel aroma, with light aromatic hops. Caramel taste, with some residual sweetness, a hint of apple, dry and a bit metallic. Good bitterness level. Beer with low character, like the girl sitting next to me right now.

Bottled. Amber colour with small beige head. Aroma is flowery hops, caramel and sweet malts. Flavour is grassy and hoppy. Quite dry. Hayish and weird.
