Can. Very clear orange gold with a cm of white head. Malty, almost fudgy aroma with hay, vanilla, doughy bread, light spice. Rich and quite sweet but very clean, so that the modest and spicy bitterness is unimpeded. Solid drop.

Can. Almost clear gold with a good inch of dense white foam. Aroma of hayish malt, flowers, spices. Just enough malt to support the firm bitterness. Floral and spice notes linger. Good.

The smooth, big WCIPA I need. Aromas of pine, stone fruit, orange peel. Beautifully balanced in the mouth. Love it.

Can. Pale amber with a large white head that doesn't last all that well.. Aroma of nectarines, pomelo, crusty bread, pine. Quite sweet, very clean. Resinous bitterness grips and sweeps the fruit and sweetness away towards a bitter finish. Very much the sort of IPA you'd expect lager specialists to brew. Pretty good.

Can. Cloudy orange with a fluffy white head that lasts OK. Aroma of passionfruit, pineapple, crackers, some pine and pepper. Although it's leanish, there's a little peach in the taste too. Perhaps unsurprisingly the fruit is kept on a bit of a leash and remains coiled until the fairly bitter end. Good.

Strong toast aroma plus some vanilla and a little citrus. Very dry on the palate with that toast dominating. I like the flavours, but it's perhaps a little too intense.

Can. Dark reddish brown with a light tan head. Aroma is toasty with mocha and hints of hazelnuts. A bit of caramel in the taste but it's quite dry with toast and a bit of roast as well as mocha. Moderate bitterness. Very good in a style that rarely excites.

Can. Amber with a good inch of white head that lasts pretty well. Toasty aroma with floral and spicy notes. So it tastes - rich but not all that sweet with toasty - even slightly roasted - notes before moderate, tightly-spiced bitterness. Impressive.

Can. Amber with an inch of white head that fades fairly quickly. Toasty aroma with caramel, spices and hints of stewed fruit. Then it's nicely rich with caramel, toast and decent spicy bitterness. Solid drop.

Aromas of toast and caramel. A strong bready taste with some light bitterness. Picked up at Crown Cellars bottle shop in Launceston (they have an incredible range of Tassie beers).
