375ml bottle. Pours opaque dark brown with a thin beige head. Aroma is chocolate milkshake, chocolate cake. Taste is medium to heavy sweet, chocolates, cookies, syrup. Alcohol becomes noticeable as it heats up. Sweet finish. Medium bodied. Too artificial.

450ml bottle @ 5% and 30 IBU. Pours hazy gold with a medium-sized white head. Aroma is citrus, resin and catty hops. Taste is light to medium sweet, citrus, resin. Light bitter finish. As with a lot of Tarkos’s efforts the aroma is better than the taste.

450ml bottle. Pours clear dark brown with a tall off-white head. Aroma is smoked meat, peat, brown sugar. Taste is light sweet, smoke, caramel. Light bitter finish. Light bodied. Good effort for making a mass market smoked beer, but it can’t stand up to the Germans’ efforts.
