Appearance: Cloudy gold with a large white frothy head of good retention. Aroma: Barley malt, wheat bread, spicy hints. Taste: Light sweet. Malty and bready. Low hopping. Mouth feel: Medium minus body, appropriate carbonation. Summary: Controversial. It's drinkable, even interesting. A proper wheat lager is a rare animal. Just a shame they sale it as a German tradition beer.

Appearance: Clear gold with a moderate white head of good retention. Aroma: floral and herbl hop, biscuit malt, even distant tropical notes. Taste: Similar. picture. Light sweet, low to light bitterness. The hop presense is obvious but some ending bitterness is lacking. Mouth feel: medium minus body, average carbonation. Overall: Not badly brewed. Still, the money saving politics of the producer are plain to see.

450ml bottle. Pours hazy gold with a small white head. Aroma is coriander, citrus zest, pale malt. Taste is medium sweet, coriander and citrus. Light bitter finish. Way too sweet. Couldn’t drink more than half.
