Description
When a beer enthusiast and a brewer come together it one household it can only end up in cirrhosis or a brewery. Lucky for us, it was a brewery and we have been brewing modern beer without filtration or pasteurization since 2016. In 2021 we purchased CK tanks in Fenetra / Clock brewery and moved all of our production into this cutting edge facility. Why Chroust? Our names are Karolína and Jirka Chroustovský.

Salon piva. Dark brown color with small beige head. Aroma of coffee, vanilla, roasted malt. Taste, roasted malt, coffee, vanilla, light licorice. Unfortunately not Laphroaig. Otherwise, tasty beer.

Tap at Salon piva. Brown color with huge beige head. Dark malt, coffee quickly overlapped with blueberries, lemon. Some yeast was detectable. Moderate sourness. Nice one.

Draft sample at Salon Piva 2018. Very dark brown color scant head. Aroma of light smoke, dark chocolate, vanilla, coffee. Taste has burnt espresso, vanilla, cocoa. Tasty

Tap at Salon Piva 09/2018. Hoppy aroma, citrus fruit, light grassy notes. Tastes the same as aroma, medium bitter. Medium body, hoppy bitter finish. Ok.

Bottle 0.75l. Slightly cloudy, deep gold to light orange colored. AROMA- sour cherry, cherry pie, lightly salty, slight touch of herbs. FLAVOR- neutral, lightly sour and salty, dough, salt, sour cherry, touch of spiceniss. Medium bodied.
Really good.

On tap at Clock Block Interesting combo. It's almost like coffee gose. Refreshing, though I'm not a fan of these coffee notes in sour beers.
