Der Herbst 🍂 bringt ein neues Saisonbier im Speisewagen 🚂 der ČD. Es ist ein mit Zimt, Orangenschale, Koriander, Vanille und anderen Gewürzen 🌿 versehenes Bier, dem natürlich auch Kürbis 🎃 zugegeben wurde, was ihm einen leicht süßlichen Hintergrund gibt. Mein deutscher Mitreisender fand es widerlich, aber ich muss sagen, dass das Getränk seine schmackhaften Seiten hat. Es ist überaus aromatisch und geschmacklich tief und ausgewogen. Nichts klassisches, aber für den kalten Herbst 👻 durchaus passend

Tap at Beergeek Bar. Clearish golden-amber body, off-white head. Bit sulfury, almost farty pumpkin aroma, spicy, nice under the yeasty-sulfury touch. Lean, light, smooth, soft, lightly minerally pumpkin and pumpkin-spice taste. Ends dry, bitterish, okay.

Can via 100 piv. Thin body, med-high carbo. Med-high bitterness, low sweetness. Simple but effective, lots of earthy grassy hops. Good lager, drinkable, nice.

Can via 100 piv. Rather thin body, med to med-high carbonation. Med-high bitterness, low sweetness, malt in the background. Moderate earthy hops character, light grassy, hints of vegetal. A nice lager though, easy drinking. Not great, but good.

Can 0.5l. Slightly cloudy, gold colored. AROMA- yeasty, bready, touch of herbal hops. FLAVOR- neutral to lightly sweet, quite bitter, nice floral and herbal hops, smooth and light malt base. Medium bodied. Very good.

Can 0.5l. Hazy, deep gold colored. AROMA- juicy, tropical fruit, citrusy, cake crumb. FLAVOR- neutral, lightly bitter, diluted tropical fruit and citrusy juice, grasses. Medium bodied. Insipid, boring. Taste more like non-alcoholic ale.

On tap at Rbabarrab. Golden with a lasting white head. Malty aroma with white bread and fresh grain, along with spicy hops. Malty flavour with spicy and floral hops and a quite bitter finish.

Canned 500ml. -Courtesy of Marko, shared with him & Hrabren, thanks! Pale golden coloured, medium sized white head, chlorophenolic nose. Same in the taste, chlorophenols all over with touch of green apple and short watery finish.

Can from either Base Camp or Galerie Piva Vršovice, shared with Hrabren and Ogi. Hazy yellow-golden aroma, off-white head, thick. Odd minerally, basil, bit phenolic aroma, light polyphenol touches even perhaps, but basil dominates somehow. The taste is light, dry, watery, with soft fruity touches and light polyphenol notes. It doesn't feel farmhouse, doesn't feel hoppy, doesn't feel dry-hopped. It's watery, lightly nicely phenolic, lightly badly phenolic, vaguely hoppy and that's it. Questionably flavored water. Bit sad I didn't try it fresh, but this... might be the worst Chroust beer I've had. Maybe even by far. Thankfully, the recent beers have been good, but this... oof.
