Tap at BrewStock 2020. Pitch black body, tan head, looking fine. Smooth aroma in general, if a bit lighter, but not too thrilling, chocolate and raisins mixing with buttery notes and alcohol. Lean, soft taste, dark bread, light raisins, light alcohol. Okay, but not more than that.

Tap at BrewStock 2020. Murky red-brown body, off white head. Strong malty notes, earthy, ripe fruit notes, hmm. Smooth, somewhat earthy taste, light tangerine hoppiness, light bitterness... in the end okay, it is what it is.

Draught @ Beertime Pub, Prague. Pours very dark brown with a small brown head, light lacings. Aroma of roasted malt, caramel, light coffee, burnt caramel. Flavor is light sweet, roast malty, caramel, little coffe, light fruit, light alcohol. Medium body, soft to average carbonation, light sweet finish. 230220

Hazy golden. Aroma is farty egg and lots of grainy malt and harsh hop. Taste is sour and bitter hop profile with harsh bitter base. Not so balanced. Very bitter. Meh.

Bottle directly from Czech, bought at the brewery (thanks Moritz). Amber, decent head, spicy complex nose that is a bit funky. Really great hop complexity, IPA level bitterness, good grainy notes backing it up.

Available in the brewpub in plzen. Dark brown. Aroma is roasted malt some syrup and caramel. Taste is syrup sweetness with black bread and grünkern later. Quite full bodied with a roasty caramel finish. Quite drinkable. I like.
