Description
Mazák Brewery from Dolní Bojanovice was founded in 2011.
The brewery was founded and continues to operate in the picturesque wine-growing village of Dolní Bojanovice, located in the Lower Moravian valley 8 km from the town of Hodonín.

Over the years, the technology was brought up to the current five-vessel brewhouse, in which the brewery is able to brew a batch with a volume of 1400L. The portfolio of the brewery consists of both classic Czech and German-style lagers, as well as top-fermented beers of the ALE type. To produce beer, it uses domestic malts and hops, as well as foreign hops, which are most often used in the production of special beers.

24.7.2025. Tap at Pivni zastavka. Very thin body, watery, med-low carbonation. Krush not crushing it. Lots of overripe fruit, feels stale, lots of tangerine of all things. Boring, too neutral, sweetish, with low bitterness. Overall not my fav. 5,6.

3.8.2025. Tap at Maly pivo. Rather thin body, med-light carbo. Med bitter, med-light sweet. Hops-centered, not very intense, but rather clean, general fruity character. Goodish, not greatish though. 6,0.

Tap at Pivní Zastávka. Clearish yellow-golden body, off-white head. White grapes, citrus, some stone fruit NZ-like herbs, lovely really, this aroma. Lean, dry, bitter taste, onions, NZ herbs, some citrus, bit bready, grainy, strongiah bitter finish, not terribly lasting. Not an Oat Cream but a good little session IPA.

Med-thin body, med-high carbo. Med-high bitterness, light candyish and juicy sweetness. Malt in the background. Lots of tropical hops character, medium citruses. Feels both classic and a bit juicily hazy at the same time. Easy drinking, clean, quite good.
