Description
Mazák Brewery from Dolní Bojanovice was founded in 2011.
The brewery was founded and continues to operate in the picturesque wine-growing village of Dolní Bojanovice, located in the Lower Moravian valley 8 km from the town of Hodonín.

Over the years, the technology was brought up to the current five-vessel brewhouse, in which the brewery is able to brew a batch with a volume of 1400L. The portfolio of the brewery consists of both classic Czech and German-style lagers, as well as top-fermented beers of the ALE type. To produce beer, it uses domestic malts and hops, as well as foreign hops, which are most often used in the production of special beers.

0.5 l can thanks to Marko who brought it from Prague, shared with Ogi and him. Unclear golden, small off-white head. Lightly hoppy, fruity, stone fruit, apricot, candy. A light herbal touch, a light malty touch. Medium body, soft carbonation. Hoppy herbal bitter finish.

Barva zlatava, trochu do seda, lehce zakalena. Pena nizka, stredne trvanliva. Vune most, citrusy, trochu kvasnice. Chut vinna, konec suchy vinny, kysely, trochu trpky. Telo velmi lehke az zadne, nicmene vodovym bych to nenazval. Riz stredni az vyssi stredni. Horkost stredni az vyssi stredni. Zajimave piti - vino tam je citit, ale je to vic ipa. Hodne prokvasena.

(Draught at Craft Beer Spot, Prague, 22 July 2023) Hazy deep golden colour with creamy, off-white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with notes of citrus, grapefruit peel, grass and pine needles. Fruity, hoppy taste with citrus, grapefruit, grass, pine needles and a balanced citric bitterness in the finish. Light body, dry. Tasty, refreshing and highly drinkable. Nice one.

Tap at Malt Worm. Rather thin body, med-low carbonation, could use more bubbles. Medium bitterness, medium sweetness, light sourishness. Moderate grapey, white wine, gooseberry character. Overall good, even though I am a bit surprised that this is Sabro.
