Mazák Brewery from Dolní Bojanovice was founded in 2011.
The brewery was founded and continues to operate in the picturesque wine-growing village of Dolní Bojanovice, located in the Lower Moravian valley 8 km from the town of Hodonín.

Over the years, the technology was brought up to the current five-vessel brewhouse, in which the brewery is able to brew a batch with a volume of 1400L. The portfolio of the brewery consists of both classic Czech and German-style lagers, as well as top-fermented beers of the ALE type. To produce beer, it uses domestic malts and hops, as well as foreign hops, which are most often used in the production of special beers.

Can at Pivní Zastávka. Clear golden body, lasting white head. Creamy, woody and citric aroma, pleasant, herbal, trace onion... and then the taste hits you. Dry, herbal, oily, oniony taste with a huge bitterness. Hard to drink in spite of the well executed malty backbone. Not the best showing of Saturn ever, not at all.

Raspberry Sour from Pivovar Mazák

Tap at Opapa. Dark Pink color with pinkish head. Aroma of raspberries. Taste is clear raspberry, light fruity sourness. Refreshing, normtoo much beery.

Tap at Beertime Jihlava. Clear yellow-golden body, fairly lasting white head. Oaty, nutty, woody aroma, vaguely fruity, soooft. Dry taste, herbal, lightly oaty, lightly tart somehow, the hops are woody and herbal mostly. Interesting, but not craving more.

From tap @ Hostinec Opapa in Bratislava. Head is big, white, good retention. Colour is gold, hazy. Aroma is tangerine, orange, mango, pineapple, bit lactic. Taste is medium malty base, orange, tropical fruits, oats, bit pine, decent bitterness, lactic touch, medium carbonation, nice for the style, enjoyed for sure.

Ein Bier, das schon ausgestorben🪦 war, aber offenbar wieder gebraut wurde...offenbar hat es doch geschmeckt. Dementsprechend waren die Erwartungen hoch und dementsprechend der Fall. Denn das Bier war einfach nicht gut. Es hatte einen muffigen Körper und der Hopfen war zwar intensiv, aber wirklich harmonisch eingebaut war er nicht. Keine Empfehlung von meiner Seite.

Endlich komme ich wieder dazu ein Bier im grünen Innenhof🏞️ meiner Lieblingskneipe in Tschechien zu trinken. Auch wenn es nicht zu heiß ist, passt dieses leichte Bier foch ganz gut. Es hat einen getreidigen Körper und einen spritzigen Abgang 💦.
