Pivovar Mazák
Microbrewery in Dolní Bojanovice, South Moravian Region, Czechia 🇨🇿
Established in 2011
The brewery was founded and continues to operate in the picturesque wine-growing village of Dolní Bojanovice, located in the Lower Moravian valley 8 km from the town of Hodonín.
Over the years, the technology was brought up to the current five-vessel brewhouse, in which the brewery is able to brew a batch with a volume of 1400L. The portfolio of the brewery consists of both classic Czech and German-style lagers, as well as top-fermented beers of the ALE type. To produce beer, it uses domestic malts and hops, as well as foreign hops, which are most often used in the production of special beers.

Tap at Náplavka. Clear golden body, off-white head. Grainy, malty, bit herbal soft aroma. Lean, dry, citric, herbal hoppy taste, light grainy maltiness. Soft, clean body, some bitterness, very nice overall. This might have been my favorite beer of the festival - just by being a good, clean lager. Damn.

Tap at Náplavka, thanks to whoever got it. Golden body, white head. Oxidized, bit syrupy fruity aroma. Syrupy, slightly oxidized fruity taste, okay at best. Didn't feel fresh, quite undefined hoppy fruitiness too. Need to try again at some point perhaps.

Tap at Maly pivo. Thin body, med-high carbo. Med-high sour, mostly clean lacto. Not much else. Flavour has medium pineapple, medium nectarines, pleasant natural feeling. There is also however med-light stalish sulfury basementy off note. Overall okay, but not great.
