Draft at The Great British Beer Festival 2013. Poured a cloudy yellow ochre colour with a medium white head. Peppery aroma with straw and lemon zest. Watery mouth feel with light citrus, some smoked malt and yeast. Leaves with some orange peal and wheat. Smells better than it tastes.

(PET-bottle, 100cl) Hazy, murky amber colour with a short and tanned foamy head. Toast-malty aroma with notes of juicy, mildly piney hops and a tinge of cough syrup. Bitter and delicately sweet flavour, medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Quite dry and slightly nutty malty taste with hints of caramel and a present hops character with mainly fruity and resiny notes, lingering into the moderately dry and bitter hoppy finish with a muted alcoholic strength. 12.VIII.13

(PET-bottle, 100cl) Hazy, golden colour with a medium-sized, slightly off-white foamy head. Yeasty, wheat-malty and apricot-fruity aroma with notes of citrus, green banana and phenols. Mildly bitter flavour with a tinge of acidity, light bodied with a sparkling carbonation. Dry wheaty taste with mildly fruity and present spicy hoppy notes; finishes dry, mildly bitter and tart and a slightly vinous fruity note. Light but not bad and quite refreshing. 12.VIII.13

Tap at GBBF 2013. It pours hazy deep amber with a medium yellow-white head. The nose is caramel, toast, fruit cake, resin, wood, leather and dried fruits. The taste is earthy, wood, leather, good bitterness, resin, light caramel, spice and a decent alcohol kick. Medium body, moderate carbonation and sticky mouth-feel. Decent malt backbone. Kind of taste likes a hopped up ESB. I kind of like it!

Bottle(@ Pivní rozmanitost, Vinohrady):Chestnut-amber coloured, almost clear, stable and lacy off-white head, spicy herbal-poney nose, some sweet dark malt underneath; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied and soft; long spicy hoppy finish with solid balance caused by dark malt, traces of syrup detectable, hops sticking to the palate. Really asell crafted beer from an excellent brewer…
