We are named after the silver carp, the very fat fish roaming the rivers and lakes of Europe. Its shape resembles the body of one our brewers after he quit rowing. With all the fat he gained the nickname Lobik came included. From the look of things the whole team will earn the nickname rather soon.
The goal of the brewery from the very beginning has remained the same. It means making the beers we like to drink. Admittedly it means they are a bit heavy on the alcohol and complex with its tastes. Consequentially it means we use the highest quality of ingredients. Anyway, enough about us. We just hope you like our beers and drink them with the joy we do!

Tap at Craft Room. Golden, white head gone fast. Mild citric, grapefruity aroma. Mild, soft citric taste, lemony, far from excessive. Bitterish finish, bit peppery, but quite mild. A nice, soft, clean, tasty session beer.

Garlic, hoppy, light citric. Taste... Onion and vaaague mango. Bit flat. Solid bitterness. Very good mouthfeel. But watery and fails taste-wise. Hope to try it on tap as thisss.....isn't fruity. Pours hazy golden, topped with thinner white head. Intense hoppy profile with citruses, tropical fruits, candy, bubble gum and some leather in the nose. Solid bitterness with lasting aftertaste. Lighter body. Nice one, though nothing that would make you go "wow".

On tap at Makro Beer Fest in Maribor. Pours hazy orange-amber, topped with thin white head. Strong soury nose, vinous quality and sort of vinegar-like. Taste similar, decent puckery sourness with some leathery funk in the finish, sort of herbal bittery. Lighter body, fresh.

On tap at Pivomanija. Pours very hazy yellow, topped with medium small white head. Citrusy character with lots of lemon in the nose. Malty back is well held back, gentler bitterness. Dry finish with longer and gentle aftertaste. Light and fresh. Decent stuff.

0,33 l can. Pours murky golden yellow with big frothy lasting head. Huge hop nose! Aroma is full of fruit, mango, tangerine, grapefruit, passion fruit. Fruit aroma practically hides malt at over 6% ABV. Flavor follows aroma, I can't remember last beer with so much hop flavor. Taste is medium sweet, medium bitter. Body is medium, texture slick, carbonation average. Finish is extra long, starts fruity and ends up with decent everlasting bitterness. Hop forward beer and a great one at that.
