We are named after the silver carp, the very fat fish roaming the rivers and lakes of Europe. Its shape resembles the body of one our brewers after he quit rowing. With all the fat he gained the nickname Lobik came included. From the look of things the whole team will earn the nickname rather soon.
The goal of the brewery from the very beginning has remained the same. It means making the beers we like to drink. Admittedly it means they are a bit heavy on the alcohol and complex with its tastes. Consequentially it means we use the highest quality of ingredients. Anyway, enough about us. We just hope you like our beers and drink them with the joy we do!

Pours a very hazy amber coppery color, topped with a medium white head. Quite creamy and average retention. Malty character dominates the nose, some caramel and soy sauce. Easy to pick up. Ine the back some gentle fruity feel, berries. Taste starts sweet, very mild caramel and more noticeable fruitiness. Mild bitterness, very. Nice fully body. Silky smooth with mild and short aftertaste.

Pours a very hazy orange-amber, topped with a rather small white head. Gentle fruity hop aroma, sweet feel, with some very subtle coffee way in teh back. Taste is gently bitter from the start, going into the aftertaste where there’s a mild coffee track left on your tongue. Very light, summery and fresh, more of an APA, but still pretty nice.

Pours a tad hazy and very pale golden color, topped with a fairly small and non lasting white head. Very mild aroma, could pick up just some sweet fruity notes. Taste follows with mild sweetness, equally gentle bittery feel follows some mild soury notes. A bit peppery aftertaste. Light body. Fresh with lots of carbonation. Nothing bad about this one, but wanted/expected a bit more.

Pours a hazy golden-orange colr, topped with a huge off-white head, pretty lasting. Gentle aroma of tropical fruits and peaches, later on some herbs and grass, but alltogether very mild. Hits with a pretty solid bitterness, medium full body and lasting aftertaste. Easily drinkable and very nice.

Pours a hazy orange golden with a fairly small but lasting white head. Lots of elderflower in the aroma, very fresh feel and pleasant. Taste starts with mild sweetness, followed by moderate bitterness. No real aftertaste and quite empty and tad watery body in the finish. Room to improve, but could be very nice once fixed.

Pours a very hazy, pale, straw yellow, topped with medium sized and medium lasting white head. Some sweet hoppy notes, citrusy, with some grassy back and a tad biscuity malt presence. Taste starts slightly sweet, very gentle and not long, followed by wqually gentle hoppy bitterness that gets a bit fruity feel in the aftertaste. Fairly light and quite gentle. Nice and refreshing.
