Foamy white head on a pale milky golden coloured body.
Pineapple & tangerine aroma.
Medium bodied, foamy with a cloying back.
Lemon, floral, pithy & bitter hop tastes.
Nice enough.

Can. A mild to medium haze on this yellowish gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Airy palate, a very mild dryness, good fine minerally carbonation. Fairly light bodied pale malts, a pleasant light creamy sweetness. Bright cooling pine into fairly juicy hop fruits. Mild Motueka lime into soft citrus, mild Simcoe pineapple, soft Citra. Light finish. Nothing out the ordinary but, has that Azvex fairy dust.

440ml can. Pours an opaque brown with no head. Aroma of coconut cream, maple, coffee. Taste is extremely sweet, but all the adjuncts come through very well, coffee, maple, and coconut cream in that order, warming booze sort of like a coffee liqueur. Texture and body is... I mean, the majority of this is actually solid and it took me ages to get it all out of the can, even the liquid part was very thick, which would've been great if it weren't for all the solid lumps.

Unsure how to properly score this one. It's undeniably delicious with a flavour profile that's right up my street, but the fact I could only manage a third of it made this is a huge waste of money, poured the rest (solids) down the sink.
This is in dire need of a rebrew as a LIQUID so we can drink and rate it properly. I'm being unnecessarily generous with my rating here.

Third of a pint (keg) in the Boot (Wellington) on 9th July 2026. Clean and clear light golden body, thin white head. More fruity than piney, with a decent bite.

Can. A light haze on this gold beer, good bubbly pale cream colour head. Airy smooth palate, decent fine carbonation on the back end. Good grapey Nelson hops, a little white port, gooseberry. Resinous grape. Smooth tangy grapey finish. Lovely NS.

Can. A light haze on this yellow gold beer, small bubbly off white head. Smooth palate, a little soft, decent fine carbonation on the back end. Soft airy pale malts, an ephemeral but forward creamy sweetness. Soft pine into soft broad spectrum hop fruits, reasonably complex and reasonably juicy. Soft finish. It's Azvex, so lots to enjoy but, this is bit soft and a bit rounded by their normal standards.

Can. A mild haze on this yellowish gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Light smooth pale malts, fairly sweet, not overcooked. Hops bring light cooling pine and a touch of hop spice. A nice Nelson grapey tang melds well with light, bright and somewhat enigmatic hop fruits from Waimea and Wai-iti. Soft mandarin, light bright Pomelo, soft peachy stone fruits and more. Soft finish. First few sips, I found this underwhelming but, as ever, patience and attention is rewarded and reveals a layered and complex IPA. A touch of soft skunk on the finish. Azvex class shining through.

Can. A mild to medium haze on this yellowish gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Airy palate, a mild dryness, good fine minerally carbonation. Light smooth pale malts, a pleasant light creamy sweetness. Bright cooling pine into light but fairly bright juicy citrus. Orange, mandarin and tangerine. Mild mosaic candy fruits more obvious on the back end. A light finish. Yeah, Citra and Mosaic, so many think of this as a classic combo. I think it's a combo I've had too many times. That bitching aside, the quality of the Citra here meant that I enjoyed it for that aspect alone.
