Bottle at tasting, thanks Cuso. Malty aroma, roasty notes, coffee, light smoked notes. Tastes the same as aroma, light sour notes, medium bitter. Medium body, almost fizzy carbonation, malty roasty smoked bitter finish. Ok.

Bottle at a tasting. Strong fruitiness in aroma, not much more perceived on my side. High carbonation, light sourness, starting to veer off evidently. Smoke not really present. Mostly fruity, light roast present, but rather background presence. Overall a bit off.

Bottle, courtesy of Cunningham. An oily pour leaves a minimal sized beige head, just some bubbles actually, over a dark brown body with a reddish hue. Close to black. The aroma is both roasted and fruity, dried fruites that is. Sort of sourish, with hints of burnt down bonfire. It's rather thin on the palate, very soft and with very little carbonation. Rather metallic too, with some burnt kind of bitterness, roasted malts, dark berries and some charcoal. More on the caramel side in the finish. Sort of interesting this one, but far from a winner in my book. 170831

Raven black color with a huge frothy beige head. Some lacing. Moderate intensity in the aroma. Easy to spot the smoked notes. Medium body and a bit carbonation level. Feared that this one would have a far to high carbonation level. A bit fizzy, but still drinkable. Balanced sweetness versus bitterness. Smoked, chocolate, coffee and some roast in the flavor. Quite mellow and ok smoked notes.

Coal black color with a small beige head. Dotted lacing. Moderate intensity in the aroma. Medium body and a soft carbonation level. Felt a bit thin actually. Balanced sweetness versus bitterness. Chocolate, coffee and some roast in the flavor.
