Bottle: Golden coloured, medium-sized, rocky, stable head, lively carbonation; delicate sweet-malty nose with a tinge of barley and an aromatic, grassy hopbitterness; first rather sweet, later moderate bitter flavour, solid malty base, a bit oily, medium bodied; short, stronger sweetish-malty-bitter finish. A good, rather sweet but pleasant Bohemian Pilsener..............

Bottle, 8%. Dark brown colour, small light brown head. Smoky flavour, a little bacon. Too sweet and too smoky for me.

(Bottle 50 cl) Pours a clear, reddish mahogany with a small, off-white head. Sweetish, roasted malt aroma. A very solid body with roasted accents of malt. Sweetish with a bitter malt finish. Decent all right, but there isn’t much Porter about this. 130806

Brown color, very dark, with medium sized head. Mild aroma of caramel, some vanilla, chestnut honey, light talc, light oxidization. The mouthfeel is smooth and soft, there is a good flavor of caramel and chocolate, with moderate residual sweetness; there is a light nutty presence; the bitterness is moderate too; the final shows a very light oxidization.
Mature, very good.

Dark brown color; generous head. The aroma is sweet, of malt, caramel and chestnut honey. Medium bodied, quite sweet taste, with a good balance of mellow caramel and burnt sugar, giving the right bitterness. The final has some burnt sugar and roasted nuts. Pleasant.

Brown bottle, 0,5 l, 8 %, gift from Marc Gratton purchased somewhere in the Czech Republic (maybe that explains why what I tasted differs from many of the comments read), received March 3, 2006, expiry date: 04 07 06; eye: black with burgundy reflcections, clear (as opposed to veiled), coffee head taht disappears rapidly, no ’effervescence, no lacing; nose: I had to change glass (from calice to tulip) as I could not smell that beer at all, after this incident, it smelt of roasted malt but of an unknown torrefaction process and of dark fruits (raisins); mouth: surpisingly thin in the mouth but "fattens" as it warmed up, it is like a kiddy roller-coaster, a bit of roasted malit in opening and then caramel and caramel again, and underneath a little carpet of alcohol, and then bitterness appears, and the return of caramel, the caramel and alcohol are amplified as the beer warmed up, average body, nice carbonation; overall: glad to have tasted it FRANÇAIS Bouteille brune, 0,5 l, cadeau de Marc Gratton acheté directement en Républiche tchèque (ce qui explique peut-être pourquoi mon évaluation différe beaucoup de celles des autres) reçu le 3 mars 2006, date de péremption : 04 07 06; oeil : noire avec des reflets bourgognes, clair (par opposition à voilée), mousse café au lait qui disparaît rapidement, pas d’effervescence, pas de dentelle; nez : j’ai dû changer mon verre (calice à tulipe) tellement je peinais à sentir cette bière, après cette mésaventure, ça sentait le malt rôti mais d’un type de torréfaction inconnue et les fruits foncés (raisin); bouche : surprenamment mince en bouche mais devient plus « épaisse » alors qu’elle se réchauffe, on est dans des montagnes russes pour enfants, un peu de malt rôti en ouverture et puis du caramel et du caramel encore, avec sous ce dernier un petit tapis d’alcool, un peu d’amerume apparaît, puis c’est le retour du caramel, l’aspect sucré et l’alcool s’amplifient avec le réchauffement de la bière, corps moyen, bonne carbonatation; content d’y avoir goûté

Bottled. Dark ruby red, beige mediumsized head. Aroma is slightly roasted malts with caramellish hints. Flavour is caramellish malts and roastyness. Wellbalanced porter. Also has some slight hints of alcohol.

Bottled. Dark copper colour, small white head. Aroma is fruity, malty and sweetish hoppy. Diacetylic. Flavour is malty is a bit salty and caramellish. Wellbalanced, but boring.

500ml bottle. Very dark ruby colour with thick beige head. Smooth dark choc/coffee. Very smooth and velvety. Some sourness and liquorice. Quite full in mouth. Dryish finish. Bit of sweetness. Velvety runs through it. Nice enough porter.

Dark ruby color, thick beige head. Coffee beans, toasted sugar and caramel in the nose. Toasted sugar and roasted malts, burned coffee beans in the flavor. Some alcohol in the finish. Warming alcohol in the aftertaste with hops and toasted malts. Nicely balanced porter to sip, similarities with Saku Porter. Propably Baltic Porter with lager yeast. (7/4/7/4/15 3.7)
