Dark clear amber color, decent tan head. Buttery, diacetylic and caramelly aroma mixed with metallic maltyness. Thin (no suprise for 10 og beer) metallic flavor, diacetyl and caramel also here. (4/4/5/2/9 2.4)

Dark, red-ish brown with a weak head. Sweet, malty aroma with notes of liquorice and vanilla. Sweet, malty slightly toasted liquorice flavour. Tastes more lika a Bock than a Baltic Porter.

Bottle: Dark brown colour, brownish ,lasting foamy head; intense aroma of molasses with some hints of roasted malts and coffee and some traces of hops; molassy flavour with a slight sweetness in the beginning, turning over to a dry, bitter, longer lasting finish; warming; no so complex as other examples of this style...........

(bottle) dark brown colour with a medium sized frothy beige head. Aroma of roasted malts and raisins with a note of caramel and (hazel-)nuts. Slight molassy sweet flavour with a thick oily taste of roasted malts. Well balanced hopbitter finish with a medium length. Nice !

500 ml bottle, bought at Pivni Galerie, Prague. Dark reddish brown to ruby colour, large & thick tan head. Aroma is surprisingly moderate: some malts, porridge, hints of roastiness, caramel. Flavour is more impressive: an immediate malty sweetness hits the tongue, followed by a pronounced roastiness with coffee elements. A robust & warming mouthfeel, alcohol is evident but not unpleasant. Roasted malts and quite a bit of hoppy bitterness in the aftertaste. Not bad.

Deep brown ale with malty grain aroma, land chocolate. Nice sweet fig malts wiht nice german type bitterness. Molasses are also noted. Mild finish and lighter bodied. This one from Dumdum...merci! 6-4-7-3-14 Rerated as Porter Boom: Maderized raisins with asweet fruity taste and some cardboard notes, very little bodied, with an abrupt end. 7-3-7-2-13

Clear dark red brown color, medium off-white head. Aroma of faint malt, bit roasted malts. Bit malty and sweet taste, but not very impressive.

Big dirty brown-yellow head, slowly and very evenly receding; nearly black beer, with reddish rims. Very bready nose, faint sourish-dark grain, bit liquorice. Burnt-bitter flavour, as a film overlying a deep dark ocean of liquid Germand sour/sweet bread. Quite sweet indeed. The chmel, cmelový extrakt notwithstanding, I detect little or no hops - the cukr indeed needs no translation. Well bodied, bit slick. OK porter, tastes very nourishing, at least.

Lightly brown, fizzy head, which is fully diminishing. Murky black body. Sweet malty aroma. Moderately acidic, lightly bitter initial flavour. Lightly acidic, lightly bitter (long) finish. Very nice Czech Beer!

[Had the same bottle as Jacob - we think this is the one] A brown beer with a beutiful light brown head. The aroma is sweet roasted with notes of bread. The flavor is sweet with notes of bread, before a dry malty end sets in. A fine beer - but not a Porter in my universe.
