330ml bottle. Slightly cloudy, orange golden colour with average, firm, frothy, slowly osteoporosing, minimally lacing, snow white head. Citrusy fruity and minimally piney, hoppy aroma, minimally biscuity, pale malty background, notes of lemon, a touch of lemongrass and pineapple. Taste is moderately bitter, citrusy fruity, minimally grassy and piney hoppy, minimally biscuity, pale malty basis, notes of lemon, some lemongrass, pineapple, a touch of salty lemon, salty cracker and lemon biscuit.
Watery texture, dry palate, medium, prickly carbonation.

330ml bottle. Clear, yellow-ish, golden colour with average, frothy, osteoporosing, minimally lacing, white head. Slightly grainy, strawy and minimally spicy, pale malty aroma, grassy hoppy and minimally doughy yeasty overtones. Taste is moderately bitter, grassy and minimally citrusy hoppy, minimally grainy, pale malty basis with some residual sweetness, some herbal grassiness, a touch of chlorophyll, lemon, a minimally mineral touch as well.
Oily-watery texture, smooth and soft, minimally greasy, simultaneously slightly dry palate, medium, prickly carbonation.
Clean, mild and balanced, some grassy hoppy subtleties - very nice.

I haven't had many German barleywines but this one is good. It's got a stamp pressed into the wax just so you know it's good.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear, deep golden with a neat and lacing, white head with good retention. Somewhat bubblegummy hop aroma. Medium body, sweet malts and again these odd but not exactlyunpleaant bubblegummy hops. Not much bitterness though. 121225

Sample, thanks fonefan! Clear amber, mid sized head. Aroma of grapefruit and caramel. Mid sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Caramel and tangerine. Leaves, tangerine, leaves, Resinous bitter finish.

Thanks fonefan! Amber colour, small white head. Aroma is sweet malts, some floral tones with mild wood and resin. Flavour is floral, fruity, wooden, some mild resin with sweet malts as well. Nice wooden bitterness in the finish.

Bottle from the brewery. Looks good. Beer in the glass deep black, small head. Starts fine malty, roasty, some chocolate. More and more vanilla notes, sweetish, maybe a bit too intense. Finish more balanced, light fruity hints. Interesting one!
