Dull diarrheic colour. Looks really bad. Tart, has rosemary, some juiciness, juniper. Low bitterness. It's not bad. Better if you're blind, though.

Sort of a purplish-brown colour. Not particularly appealing. But it has a cool aroma - rosemary, cherry, sherry. Soft body, a touch oily. Good acidity. Berry notes, red wine, candy. Complex. It's a weird one, but I found it very good.

Magnum at Barrel Fest 2025, pours a deep dark reddish brown with a small off-white head. Aroma has all sorts of perfumey notes, wood, and some sugar candies of some sort. Flavour is less harsh than expected, with perfumey notes, wood, tart red fruits, and some gummy candy. Very odd—hard to pinpoint exactly what was done here. Strange experiment.

Bottle pour at Barrel Fest 2025, pours a hazy dull orange with a tiny white head. Aroma has light wild yeast, a bunch of spicy earthiness, and a touch of apples. Flavour actually comes together well, with apple skins, wild yeast, some spices, and earthiness. Didn’t seem promising but actually does work. Solid.

Bottle pour at Barrel Fest 2025. Pours hazy gold with no head. Very herbal nose. Flavour has a very herbal profile, body is very chewy. No carbonation; a bit boozy on the finish. It's very interesting.

3L bottle pour at Barrel Fest 2025. Pours murky mahagony with a white head. Red wine gummies on the nose; very medicinal. Flavour has juicy red wine gummies, earthy, some funk. It's okay.

Tasting ar Ryan's, bottle; vintage 2023
Golden colour, no head, slight haze. Sweet malt, syrup, balanced by the strong alcohol; Mild fruity aroma. Good body strength, sweet, with some spirit, ripe fruit, and the bitterness seems to fit; almonds. Good.

500ml @ Ryan's shared with Alex and Farees. Says a collab between Grain Bin and Blindman. Bottled in the old style Grain Bin bottles as well. Appearance: a bit hazy copper with almost no head. Aroma: malty, boozy, caramel. Taste: along the same lines, very hot and sweet. Overall: malt liquor.

Poured from 500mL bottle. Hazy golden orange with no head. Woody, boozy, some underlying caramel malt. Okay, but a bit over the top, and lacking depth.

Thin weak and junky. Such a soft attempt at a porter. Shouldn’t even be solid. Sk nhl adventkal2022
