32oz howler. Pours a clear amber with a medium, foamy, long lasting, off-white head that leaves curtains of lace. Mild, sweet aroma of biscuit malt, mango, orange and weedy hops. Sweet flavour of biscuit malt, mango, orange, grapefruit rind, pine resin and earthy yeast in a bone dry, bitter finish. Medium body with an oily texture and average carbonation. Not bad, but the name is misleading. I was expecting a hazy east coast IPA, but this was west coast all the way. Nothing juicy about it. Clear, dry and bitter. Old school.

On tap at Armoury, pours a hazy dark copper with a small white head. Aroma is full of butter—don't get anything but diacetyl. Flavour is just disgusting, with diacetyl galore, harsh bitterness and bready malt. Revolting stuff.

On tap at Armoury, pours a clear bronze / amber with a small white head. Aroma brings out some tropical fruits, citrus hops, and some bready malt. Flavour is more old school, with bitter piney and earthy hops, a bit of pithy fruit, and bready malt. Dry and crunchy, with a pretty dull hop profile. Not great.

On tap at Armoury, pours a hazy dark amber with a small beige head. Aroma brings out bready malt and a hint of toasted caramel. Flavour is dry and old, with old earthy hops, crusty bread and toasted malt. Not sure what they were aiming for here, but this isn't pleasant.
